Dear Patients and Families,

After many wonderful years caring for children in our community, I am writing to tell you I will be transitioning out of full time clinical practice as of January 2026. In the last few years, I’ve been approached by a number of dentists about my practice but the timing and the personalities just didn’t feel right until now. I would like to introduce Dr. Maria Claire Brown. Since we first met, Dr. Claire has wowed me with her exceptional training, clinical excellence, and her genuine love for working with children. I think everyone will love her positive caring personality! I am confident Dr. Claire is the ideal person to continue the level of family oriented, compassionate, high-quality care you have come to expect in our office.

I want to thank everyone for allowing me and my staff to be a small part of your lives for the last 40 years. It has been a true honor! They say time flies when you’re having fun. “40 years” Wow!! It’s been a blast!!

Warmly,
Dr. William E. Kemper, DMD

A Message from Dr. Claire Brown

Hello families,

I am honored to have the opportunity to continue caring for your children. I am a board-certified pediatric dentist, originally from Kentucky, with a strong commitment to positive, supportive dental experiences for all children—including those with special health care needs.

After completing my pediatric specialty training at the University of Kentucky, I practiced locally before taking this meaningful step into ownership. What first drew me to this practice was the warmth and trust that so many families feel here—a legacy I am dedicated to preserving.

A Note About Our New Name

In the coming months, you may notice a gradual transition to our updated practice name: Bloom Pediatric Dentistry. This change reflects our shared philosophy of helping children grow with confidence, resilience, and healthy smiles.

Please know:

  • Our location, team, and commitment to you will remain the same.
  • This is simply a refreshed brand that better represents the welcoming, growth-oriented care we strive to provide.

We will continue communicating any updates clearly and thoughtfully so the transition feels seamless.

What You Can Expect

  • All scheduled appointments remain exactly the same.
  • Our office location, phone number, and hours will not change.
  • Our wonderful team will remain here to support your family.
  • We will continue to accept the same insurance plans unless you are notified otherwise.
  • Your child’s records will stay securely within the practice—no action needed.

Looking Ahead

I am excited to uphold the caring environment you’re familiar with while gradually introducing updated technology, materials, and expanded services to support your children’s needs now and in the future.

Thank You for Your Trust

To our families: thank you for the privilege of caring for your children. We look forward to continuing this relationship for many years to come.

To Dr. Kemper: Thank you for your dedication to this community and for ensuring a thoughtful, patient-centered transition.

Warmly,

Dr. Claire Brown
